Terms of Service

Welcome to Vecto, operated by Capslock Marketplaces Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vecto mobile application, website, and related services ("Service").

By using Vecto, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Vecto. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Drivers are responsible for holding a valid licence for the vehicle they operate.

2. Accounts and roles

There is one app. After OTP, the phone number decides the experience. You are not asked to pick a role.

• A new number is treated as an owner.
• A number an owner has saved is treated as that driver's login.
• The same phone number cannot be added as two drivers.

You are responsible for activity under your number, including keeping OTP codes private.

3. Subscription and payments

Only the owner pays. Drivers do not pay and do not see the paywall.

• The price, and any free trial, are shown in the app before you pay.
• Payment is by UPI. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
• You can cancel from your UPI app or from subscription settings in Vecto.
• When a plan ends, the owner can still view data but cannot add vehicles or drivers or approve bills. Drivers can keep working, and new bills stay pending.
• No refunds are issued for partial periods or unused time unless required by law or our Refund Policy.

4. User conduct

You agree to:

• Use Vecto only for lawful operation of your own vehicles and drivers
• Submit true trip proof: the assigned driver's selfie, a real odometer photo, and an accurate location
• Upload genuine expense bills and not reuse, edit, or invent receipts
• Not add a driver, or share a login, without that person's knowledge
• Not misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of access.

5. Trips, location, and bills

• Location is required to start a trip and is shared with the vehicle's owner while the trip is active.
• Photos store the time and place. Phone time and server time are both kept.
• Kilometres for a day are the closing odometer reading minus the opening reading.
• An odometer reading lower than the last saved reading can be blocked or flagged for the owner.
• Bills need a photo. The owner approves or rejects them. Rejected bills stay in history.
• Mileage flags are a prompt for the owner to check. They are not a finding of fault.

Vecto is a record for the owner. It does not replace statutory vehicle documents, insurance, or compliance with transport law.

6. Intellectual property

All branding, code, and designs in Vecto are the exclusive property of Capslock Marketplaces Private Limited.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
• "Vecto" and associated marks are trademarks owned by us.
• You keep ownership of photos and documents you upload, and you grant us a licence to store and display them so the Service can work for your fleet.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Vecto running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, continuous live location, or that every odometer or bill photo will be read correctly. The app may undergo maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

If there is no network, trips and bills may be saved on the phone and sent later. We are not liable for loss caused by a phone that is off, a denied location permission, or a delayed upload.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

You may cancel your subscription and request account deletion at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We do not guarantee that a vehicle's location, kilometres, or expenses shown in the app are complete in every case
• The Service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via the app or SMS. Continued use after changes implies your acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
